A unique approach

Chiropractic

Chiropractic primarily is concerned with the bones and the muscle of the human skeleton and uses a non-surgical and a drugless approach to treating patients.  Chiropractic is widely used by all walks of people, young and old and has become an important provider of healthcare.

It is believed that a whole body approach is important as above and below the injury can be linked.  McTimoney chiropractic is a very light and fast adjustments on individual segments and is tolerated well with pretty much all people young and old.  Diversified chiropractic is a longer level technique using a bigger force/thrust and it is where you can get a cavitation, click or what some people call a crack which is where the bones are realigning as a fixation is released.

Acupuncture & Massage

In Acupuncture fine needles are inserted at certain sites in the body for therapeutic or preventative purposes.  Acupuncture can help in a range of painful conditions and is commonly used for short-term relief of chronic low back pain and neck pain and can help with the management of knee pain caused by osteoarthritis.  There is also good evidence that it is effective in the short term relief of tension type headaches and migraine, and of temporomandibular joint pain.  Sports massage or deep tissue massage techniques can be used with muscular issues which cause pain and these muscles can be released with massage techniques which quite often accompany many spinal and pelvis issues.  Techniques include effleurage, kneading, trigger points muscle energy techniques and soft tissue release.

Stretch & Strengthen

Stretching can be performed as a short static stretch after a warmup before activity but also as a developmental stretch with is developing the length of the muscle over a longer period of time and one that many people do not do and they opt for  a more shorter static Strech.  The developmental stretch takes patience and dedication to perform but can release tight painful muscles and ease joint pain where the muscle can pull on the joint if it is tight and cause pain in that joint.
