About me

My name is Kev Haynes and I am a Doctor of Chiropractic. I have lived on the Isle of Wight since the age of five growing up in the West Wight and then moving on to East Cowes to raise a family and I am now currently residing in Newport.

I have always been interested in the human body along with sports and fitness and was keen to study anatomy and physiology after school. I had many interests including martial arts achieving a black belt in Karate when I was fifteen years old, then studying Wing Chun Kung Fu and taking up Weight training and running.

My career started when I was 17 when I trained as a fitness instructor and then sports science at college and at university. I went on to have a career as a driving instructor for twenty plus years and then came back into the wellbeing industry studying for a five year master’s degree in chiropractic qualifying in 2023. During the course I gained other qualifications including sports massage and Pilates instructor certification. After graduating university, I also then went on to become a medical acupuncturist.

I work as a Chiropractor at Watchbell House Natural Therapy Centre on Lugley street, Newport with many other fantastic practitioners. I love working within this practice meeting and transforming patients’ lives for the better and helping them manage their pain and dysfunction as well as offering a friendly sympathetic ear. Within my chiropractic appointments I utilise a combination of the skills I have built up over the years to help patients reduce their pain, increase their function and mobility and help them get back to their normal way of life.
